They rebranded them last week and I don’t think they taste quite the same. The sticky pulled pork crisps are a good substitute.

Oh my! Have they discontinued the normal ones?! I did wonder when I went in last week and couldn't see them. They had all those ridge cut ones instead 😭 First world problems, I know!

Just bought the honey roast ham crisps today, following your recommendation. They’re ace. You’re an influencer now.

Undisputed favourite for me is the humble Spiced Iced Bun. Available in packs of 2, which is a relief as one is never enough.

My M&S purchases always used to be motorway service station related due to visiting my Gran, and the arrival of the Turkey Feast sandwich and subsequent first one of the year was always the sign that Christmas had begun for me. My Gran is no longer with us but a Turkey Feast is still a special point of the year and brings back very happy memories!

I also used to buy a Sicilian Lemon Curd muffin for breakfast each morning on my way into work and one week there was a run of muffins with no curd in the middle. I was on a tight budget at the time and was very upset when I got to work each day and the curd was lacking, so one day I went back to the shop at lunchtime and nearly died when a post-mortem was carried out on one of the ones still in the basket. Sure enough though, the proof was there for all to see and I received a refund and an apology. It's still a mystery as to what happened but the seriousness with which my plight was taken by the staff on duty that day is one of my favourite memories of that particular job!

These days I appreciate being able to buy a proper size small wine (250ml, none of this ridiculous 187ml that has taken over everywhere else thank you) or occasionally a half bottle in the shops in the Glasgow stations.

I was just going to post about spiced buns. They're fantastic. Also m&s lemonade - it is made with actual sugar unlike most others available.

Sorry I’m a bit late to the party…

M&S plant kitchen, no beef steak pies. WHERE HAVE THESE GONE?!?

Iced buns, two-pack - agree with others these are the best. Waitrose ripped them off for a while but they were withdrawn (copyright probs?); they were nowhere near as MOIST as M&S tho.

When my hubby was in hospital after an accident, buns from the M&S mini Mart downstairs kept me going.

And finally, a sandwich I’ve bought since I was a child – Wesleydale and carrot chutney. STILL GOING! Obligatory accompaniment of kettle-style salt and vinegar crisps. 💕💕💕 Love this, Thankyou! ☺️

BUT, but… the mango chutney mini poppadoms?! If you haven’t tried, don’t as you’ll be forever addicted as I am! I really enjoyed this thank you

This is my favourite subject! And since no-one else has mentioned them, may I recommend the packets of mini curry puffs and mini samosas in the freezer section? (Unless you’re shopping in the big Bristol M&S, because it breaks my heart when I get there and they’ve sold out. If you’re there, please don’t buy them, I don’t recommend them at all. 😂)

Hard agree with this! I'd add the Gastropub mac & cheese, it's next level indulgence (along with one of their garlic flatbreads) when the hubby is out and I'm curled up watching something sufficiently trashy. Also, their yum yums, the mini loaves cakes (sticky toffee pudding esp), and basically any of the doughnuts in the fresh bakery. And I'm never far from a pack of their fruit sherbets! I'm basically as obsessed as you 😂

Yes! Thank you for the list, need to go through it all.

I have been team M&S for years, nobody got me! I was so excited when Ocado had partnered with them.

Current favorite products (on top of my head):

*Punchy protein seed mix (sold in veg sections, little plastic pouches on hooks). The BEST on top of avo toast (always seeded sourdough from Gail)

*Prawn and Crab Anglotti. Some olive oil, black pepper and shaved Parmesan on top 👌

* love their cleaning section- multipurpose cleaner, washing up liquid, wooden floor cleaner, toilet cleaner, even scented bin bags

* Nespresso compatible vanilla and hazelnut capsules

* I think their rioja reserva for £11 is pretty decent!

Have I missed it in my reading, or have you forgotten the cakes in the tubs??? I’m obsessed with the caramel rice crispy one and the chocolate orange mini Swiss roll type one!!! I’ve moved to Canada and I’m absolutely devastated that I’m not near M&S anymore

Can’t beat a good M&S Haul, we shop there a lot and with the prices of food rising so much it isn’t that much different to some of the other supermarkets in terms of cost

I absolutely LOVE this list!!! Thank you.As a fellow M&S devotee I actually found myself feeling super joyful at things I am going to buy when I’m next in store. In fact I am going there within the hour to buy the marmite cheese bake, cookie dough, chicken mushroom and rice soup, jersey butter and actually loads of other yummy things. I boldly declare I am incredibly excited.

Have you tried the cheese and garlic flat bread in the freezer section? It’s only £1.80! If you dab a little of the jersey butter on it, wowee it’s a taste sensation!

Also the champagne and raspberry marshmallows. 😎

I hadn't seen my son for 3 years. He lives on a spot of sand thousands of miles away from hospitals and M&S. Reviving, returning from Death, I found him there at the end of my bed, every day and eating. There is nothing a mother likes more than finding a son tucking into roast beef on granary from M&S.

Love your post. I live in Suffolk & M&S have opened large food halls. Which are amazing & spacious. The cheese section in their Clacton food hall is just the best ever! I also order from Ocado as my local M&S store is so small. Also love their English tomatoes from the Isle of Wight.

Great work. Massive shout out for the hot and sour tomato soup (genuine panic when my local stopped selling) and what we call the 'foam' crisps - sour cream & jalapeno mix, particularly the flower shaped ones.
